normally i would never speak of work, but this goes beyond standards. There's this woman that i work with everyday, she calls me her partner in crime. Her name is Margaret and she is about 65 and probably going to die in the next 10 years. She has baked me cookies, banana bread, cake and some pie in the last 3 weeks, which is completely unorthodox. I find this old woman to be hilarious, yesterday she was working across the table from me and i looked away and when i looked back i guess she was on the floor and i asked her if she was having a seizure, and she started laughing so hard she was crying and she couldn't get up, so someone had to help her. She laughs that hard like 3 times a day at my lame jokes. I think she's cool, but she's also old and smells...
I cut my own hair a few weeks ago and i'm willing to bet people think i am an escapee from a mental institution, so i guess i should really go and get it fixed this weekend. |

I bought either/or by elliot smith on record, and i've listened to it 6 times since i got home 3 hours ago. His voice and guitar is so soothing and comforting, but he was quite the ugly person, his mind and talent exceeded appearances though. He killed himself a few years ago by stabbing himself in the heart. That's tragic bravery. I could never imagine a knife to my own heart.
"walk down alameda brushing off the nightmare you wish could plague me when i'm awake and now you see your first mistake was thinking that you could relate for one or two minutes she liked you but the fix is in you're all pretension i never pay attention nobody broke your heart you broke your own because you can't finish what you start nobody broke your heart you broke your own because you can't finish what you start nobody broke your heart you broke your own because you can't finish what you start nobody broke your heart if you're alone it must be you that wants to be apart" |

Lost a friend to cocaine, Couple friends to smack. Troubled hearts map deserts, And they rarely do come back. Lost a friend to oceans, Lost a friend to hills, Lost a friend to suicide, Lost a friend to pills, Lost a friend to monsters, Lost a friend to shame, Lost a friend to marriage, Lost a friend to blame, Lost a friend to worry, And lost a friend to wealth, Lost a friend to stubborn pride, And then I lost myself. But i dreamt we were all beautiful and strong. |
